“ The first time we went last year everything was great, today in the afternoon was completely opposite. The buschetta was aoft toast the tomatoes were tasteless no oil salt pepper or herbs. The main course for what it lacked in taste made up for in portion size, thats not a compliment, too much pasta, the tomato sauce needed more taste, again seasoning and herbs. Now, i am fully aware they are open 12-2 afternoons. We arrived 12:30 and had ordered by 12:45. When we has finished our mains, we tried to order a coffee, it took a while to get the waiter’s attention, eventually one of our group had to shout across the tables if we may. To which the waiter replied “but you know that we pause at 2.” Of course we knew that, but it was 13:50… do you want to earn money? Do you want to push your customers out sooner? Maybe he was having a bad day, but his face and tone was not pleasant the entire visit. Yes he made a joke or two but was very passive aggressive. Overall, disappointing experience im afraid, after we had so looked forward to it and driven an hour just to come back here. The only positive of the experience was it is a nice atmosphere and a great feel to the restaurant in terms of decor. ”
